Wondering if anyone else was watching this one early this week and had thoughts on grades for this set? Based on the photos do you think the seller did well?

You can't see if there are any varieties worth noting, except that the '58 is NOT full vine, but the 1891 is a SD/LL and that could be worth what he paid for the whole thing. I'd say he got a bargain, and especially so, if some of those are UNC and not cleaned.

That 58 is a beauty......looks like a nice old time collection. I remember buying those blue coin folders about 1970.

The 1891 SD/LL from the album is on p 332 or 333 of the 2011 65th Charlton that has the Vicky varieties in it. The estimate for an MS-60, whether the date has a near and even "91" or a near and low "91" is the same .... $1750. Or $1250 if the "91" was far and low. Unfortunately my computer can't get the right focus on the date because the "sold" banner covers it.
