Like a sack of bricks to my face!! Lol this 1994 D penny has Machine Doubling!! I don't know why it took this coin to figure it out! If someone says it's actually a double die..... so help me..... I'll do nothing lol

You're definitely not the first to feel that way.
Congrats on pulling it together and realizing the differences.

It will get even easier, but there are still times when the two are hard to tell apart for me.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

My first thoughts on this coin is Machine Doubling due to the flat, shelf like features. To me, you got this right.
