Here is another 1922 Wheat cent. I am sending off to NGC to see if it will cross over what do you think segs gave this coin. I probably shouldnt even post this(segs) but it was my first 1922 Wheat cent of this variety. guess the grade segs gave it and when I get it back from NGC ill post that too

Nice DP #1. Tough call with the worn dies and grease, but as far as actual wear, I'd call it F-15, maybe even higher.

Man, what a weak strike!
I think I see the barest hint of where the D mintmark should be, so probably a weak D designation. I'd grade this as high as a VF+, possibly XF to my eyes.

I think SEGS gave this one VF-35/XF-40 Weak D...

I am at f-15 as well. This is a nice key coin. It is hard to see if the scratches are on the coin or the capsule.

these are so tough to call. the only thing I can look at is the reverse lettering. if I was just grading by that i'd call it mid VF

Color and surface appeal are often more important in valuing this coin than the debatable TPG numerical designations.

Does ANACS recognize any "no D" in die pairs 1 3 and 4 or does it just put the die pairs 1,3,4 weak D.
