The "WE" of the coin listed below look the same as the "E" in the EPU... could someone help educate me on this? Thank you for the help/education in advance!! Report this Post to the Staff

Seeker_101 Pillar of the Community United States 1791 Posts	Posted 12/21/2024 10:58 am There is a difference between the two "E"s. The E in WE is decreased in size from wear on the die. Note how the apparent doubling is within the normal size of the letter. Whereas the E in E Pluribus is increased in size. Notice the wider thickness of the vertical part of the E. Also appears somewhat tilted. Doubling increases size while Die Deterioration and MD decreases size. Report this Post to the Staff
