I believe I have a quarter with the same toning and I believe it came from a coin holder book. It most definitely happens to my quarters in the blue books. Dykil93 Valued Member United States 120 Posts	Posted 12/24/2024 06:57 am Here our some examples of this type of toning from the chemicals in Quarter book holder, or mint set envelopes and plastic set holders. A variety of depth and how deep it might go. A few of these are from the same set. I could not find my Quarter that looks like that, only an ugly quarter. I'll see if I can find it.
