Starting to get a little frustrated here - when I try to log in over at the image gallery, I'm unable to. I had a username/password but I can't remember them because it's been at least a couple of years since I got the letter after 50 posts. I've clicked on "forgot password" and that was a dud! Got an email telling me to click on the link in the email - when I did, it didn't tell me my password, or even give me a new one. Instead it took me right back to the login page (where I still can't login). Grrrrr Somebody want to hel[p me out here? Ralph

Thanks for the new password Bobby. Now my problem is - the scans saved in my computer are too large to be accepted in them gallery so I transferred them in photobucket and reduced them down to medium (320 X 240) but I don't know how to get them from photobucket to my gallery, or even if that size is acceptable. I'd appreciate help in doing this from anyone with more knowledge about it than me - I'm getting to the point where I'm about ready to toss in the towel - don't know if posting photos of my coins is worth all this frustration. Any help will be much appreciated.

Okay guys - I had to take an around-about approach to accomplish what I set out to do, but I got 'er done. I only have obverse photos of album pages saved in my computer, so that's what I had to post in my gallery - give you an idea of my collecting habits anyway.

HELP! I spent the better part of yesterday, and until around 10:00 last night trying to get my photos in the member's gallery - that's alot of hours.....had to transfer my images to photobucket because they were too large to be accepted in the forum gallery - reduced them on photobucket to medium (320 x 240) and then had to transfer them back to my computer in order to get them to the CCF gallery because I couldn't copy and paste from photobucket. After posting them, I went back and looked them over - they show up so tiny that it's really hard to tell anything about them at all - no better than not having anything in my gallery at all. I thought everyone's photos showed up that way until I clicked on a few of the other's photos - what a difference. I guess, if no one can help me with this, it's probably best to just go back in and delete them all - no sense in taking up forum space with something you can't see all that well. I'll wait for responses to my problem before doing that - just hate the idea of wasting all those hours trying to do something, and having it turn out to be such a dud. I await your replys. Thanks.

Ralph, The gallery allows 1MB (1024KB) uploads which is huge. Not sure why you thought you had to put your photos on photobucket? If they're larger than 1MB you can just resize them on your computer and upload them.
Now you can go to each image and use the replace file link under the image then you wont have to do all the descriptions again.

Bobby - I appreciate you taking the time to explain all this to me - in some areas I'm dumber'n a mud duck! Computers and stuff related to them is one of those areas. The message I got when I tried to post direct from my 'puter was - "exceeded filesize permitted by CPG". I saved them pretty big so I could pull them up and look at them once in awhile, and I'm not even sure how to shrink them on my computer. That along with the albums not being here at home does create a problem for me if I want to have a gallery. No problem - I'll leave them up for a few days - even though the only thing you can make out real good is the title :) If I can't figure out some other way, I'll delete them, and start all over some other day. Like I said, they're indistinguishable the way they are now, and nothing more than a tribute to my ignorance when it comes to things I don't know anything about. :)
