2017-Series-A-$5-Bill-Misalignment-Error


My girlfriend was tipped this $5 bill and we want to know what it's worth we've found out that it's called a misalignment error but we don't know how rare this one is compared to others it's a $5 2017 a series with a horizontal and vertical misalignment

Very close, but I don't think it's technically far enough off-center to warrant a premium.

The general rule of thumb for a note to officially be considered an error is, a portion of an adjoining note must be visible in one, or more of the margins. And unfortunately, I'm not seeing it. Now that's not to say that someone on ebay or somewhere else might pay a premium for it, but I wouldn't expect too much given the note's overall condition.
