This might be a fun post to start. Today I found a very strange 2005 Canadian 1 cent and it just baffles me how just the maple leaf got epoxied or glued. Maybe some experiment, who knows. I did a few Black Light shots to add to the strangeness. Enjoy and lets see some other strange coins out there!!

The Black Light shows the oils from the human handling very well. Going to soak this coin in acetone and I will post the new version when it cleans up.

Maybe they liked Queen Elizabeth II and glued the cent obverse-up onto a brooch or other piece of jewellery?

Sounds plausible.

All cleaned up in a acetone soak, it had to have been glue.
