Merry Christmas all!
So my niece who works at a bank pulls this toonie for me and gives it to me yesterday. Right away I think impaired proof released into circulation. Looking in my Charlton it says it came in 3 versions , a plated steel circulation magnetic strike 6.92 gr, a nickel/brass proof magnetic strike and last a fine silver proof nonmagnetic strike 9 gr. This coin is nonmagnetic , correct edge and diameter of 1.9 mm, but the weight comes in considerably light at 7.4 gr. The finish looks right but why is the weight off by so much? Thoughts?

Looks like a fake to me checking the bears front paws and the fact the weight is off.

Certainly looks like a camel toe amongst other problems.

Wasn't considering a fake as the security feature is present. Does anyone have one that they could post a picture for comparison?

Your coin has some other probs, but it looks like the bear has "camel toes". Just go to this coin site and type in "camel toe or camels toes" and you will get hundreds of hits, but probably not your coin. It just goes to show that the Chinese can't figure out what a polar bear's toes look like.
