1882 Fake/Counterfeit Mexican 8R Again

He has 6 examples posted all dated 1882 all from the same dies. How often would that happen? Some have clues but none are slam dunks like the 1882's. He does actually mix in a few real coins. I have written to him - but I spotted the first one a bit too late to report him to ebay. He has some on Buy It Now that I will report if he takes no action. He also has posted an interesting Chinese Sycee ingot - looks awful but how do you prove it is a fake? Most of his stuff is not particularly collectible and anyone who buys anything from China is asking for trouble. It almost looks like he got suckered himself into buying a lot of that junk and is just trying to peddle it to get rid of it. Also, on that 1804 Bust Dollar, he is in violation of ebay's Terms of Service by not listing "Copy" or "Reproduction" in the title. Report this Post to the Staff

I was not aware. I looked them up in the 1993 issue of the STANDARD CATALOG OF WORLD COINS. I was looking for reference info., not to authenticate them. I do appreciate the information and will have them checked out. After that, I'll contact the place where I purchased them and see what they know.
