I've had this coin for many years and as I learn more about grading I know it's a lot better than the F I originally gave it. Thank you. HondoB Bedrock of the Community United States 24905 Posts	Posted 01/18/2025 12:00 am trig, pics are a bit bright. It's hard to distinguish between a weak strike / worn dies and slight wear. The fields are quite clean. There's a die break at the chin (or lamination?), which suggests worn dies. So the best I can say is somewhere between high XF and low MS. The color looks a bit off but that might be the pic. Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures Report this Post to the Staff

Looks like someone may have laquered the coin at some time. These does seem to be a lamination problem at the chin. Thanks for your grading opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
