I enjoy combing the two by collecting Philatelic-Numismatic Covers (PNCs) - I've posted a fair number of them here on CCF over the years. I thought I'd try something related - but different - for a bit. I'm calling the series "Philately Friday". Each week I plan on posting a First Day Cover (FDC) that features one or more stamps that depict one or more coins. The covers will feature stamps (and coins) from around the world. I've collected a small number of these FDCs because I like the coin(s) depicted on the stamp(s). When I can, I'll post an example of the coin(s) depicted on the stamp(s) and/or FDC(s).
