Should I Consign Raw Coins To Heritage Or Have Them Graded First, Then Send?

GaryVanWa Valued Member United States 326 Posts	Posted 02/06/2025 3:50 pm I want to sell a few coins from my collection, only about 20, and they range in value from$200 to $500 ( maybe). I called Heritage and they said I can take pics, and send them raw and if they are expected to bring $150 or so ( or more), then THEY will submit them to TPG service and deduct that expense from auction sales. They have all of the expertise needed to reliably authenticate almost any coin, and accurately grade it for description purposes, before they would consider consigning it for public auction. Save wasting expense and time, especially if they are in the $200 to $500 value range. Report this Post to the Staff
