Could these be something that happens before the die crack appears ? it looks raised but it's not , and there isn't signs of a crack yet on the closed ups .

Maybe a build up of corrosion where it sat somewhere for awhile? Don't think it's a crack though. Cool looking.

Chase007 it's flat , makecents I agree with you that's probably like a stain from setting on something for a long time but I had to ask . It's interesting the tings you can find on an old-timer ( late 70's ) collection when they start selling it.

Since it is flat I would think it could be an old rub/scuff mark.
