1958 Possible Very Rare DD? - Coin Community Forum

Coins4ourkids New Member United States 47 Posts	Posted 01/27/2025 4:36 pm Hi All, I'm new to this and going through an old collection given to me. I happened to notice these marks while looking through some penny's. Does this look like a double die? It is very hard to tell sometimes especially being a novice!! It looks to have a doubling on the inside portion of E, and possibly on the R (I've marked on coin what I'm looking at). I'm learning not to get my hopes up as there appears to only be two known DD errors with this coin lol. Any advice would be very helpful, and also if it's not I'd love to hear what you are looking for and how to tell. Thanks!!!! Report this Post to the Staff
