Hi All, I'm new to this and going through an old collection given to me. I happened to notice these marks while looking through some penny's. Does this look like a double die? It is very hard to tell sometimes especially being a novice!! It looks to have a doubling on the inside portion of E, and possibly on the R (I've marked on coin what I'm looking at). I'm learning not to get my hopes up as there appears to only be two known DD errors with this coin lol. Any advice would be very helpful, and also if it's not I'd love to hear what you are looking for and how to tell. Thanks!!!!

Just seeing damage from circulation on the letters. Not a Doubled Die. For a Doubled Die, you want to look for separation, notching, and extra thickness. http://doubleddie.com/58222.html

Try to do better with photos, consider that's all we have to work with here to help identify errors/varieties on coins.
