Hello! I received this coin in 2012 in its original mint cellophane. Literally received the coin through school and put it in a tin where I hold my other coins. Barely ever looked at it, to be honest.
I thought this mark was a blemish of sorts, but upon closer inspection (only with my naked eye and good light), it appears to be a small, rotated maple leaf? There is some toning that makes it more difficult to distinguish. I have never seen this error, I have no idea what it means to the value of my coin.
Not a Maple Leaf, looks like a minor struck through. Doesn't add much value and certainly not worth grading. Not one of a kind as there would be a few others out there similar.
Hi JimmyD, I guess I got carried away haha. Definitely makes sense, and gives me another topic to read up on in my hobby thank you for your information!
