Generic question...There appears to be a horizontal bar in Bay 8. (Maybe 2) What would cause this on a coin? A strike-through? It also looks like it could be part of a squiggly line from Bay 7, but it would have run a column. Am I just seeing something that couldn't be there?

I think OP is talking about the bay two to the right of Lincoln. (next to the one that looks like a stain)

Yes. That's right... and I meant die clash instead of strike through.

Here's another example...in Bay 2, except the bar is almost vertical. The edges seem too straight to be just a stain...I really don't understand.

Looks normal to me. I looked up your coin and that extra column is part of the design.

a column is vertical. He's talking about the 2 horizontal anomalies two bays to the right over from Lincoln. The larger of the two is even with his head.

Gigi: when asking us to count the bays on these coins, it would be a bit more helpful if you were to provide a full coin image so we can count the bays.
