Hi!
I need help to identify this coin. It says Samanids when I bought it but I can't find any similar. So it could something else. 2.85 gram. 22.5 x 25 mm.

@wall, I struggle with these identifications too. Those decorative knots remind me of Ilkhanids though so perhaps this coin is a little later?

Did a Zeno search that was accidentally too narrow and found the right type anyway by accident

Muzaffarids, Shah Shuja', 2 dinars, Shiraz mint, dated 772 AH (1370/1 AD).
Exact match to Zeno 22174 (which is the coin I accidentally found).

Looking forward to seeing it on the Walking Back With Dated Coins thread in two weeks or so

Strong work @j1m. Looks like I was one dynasty too early.
