Picked up this beauty yesterday. NGC holder. MS-68 reverse first so everyone can gawk at that before getting to the obverse which limits the final grade.   |

Wow, that reverse is gorgeous. Obverse is pretty darn nice as well. I'll take a stab and say MS66.

It looks like there's a rim hit around 10:00 of the obverse. For me it's an MS65.

MS64 way too much going on in the
Focal area on the obverse.

I'm with Pacificoin.at 64. Hits too deep behind the lips.

This one is tough, I am going to say NGC gave it a MS65. That hit behind the lips is what is holding this one back

Lower obverse is dark to see the contact marks in that region, but I will say 65 strong shot at 66 considering it is an 81-S in an NGC holder.

NGC did in fact grade this one MS-65. Thanks for the opinions. My opinion on the coin in hand, the photos don't quite do it full justice, is it's MS-66.

I have heard that they are harder on these as most come very well struck. Regardless it's a very nice coin.
