I found out today that this token is actually a token and not part of an equipment. I was looking at the edge of this token and I found that this token appears to have a seam around the edge. I always thought that cast coins had rougher surfaces compared to milled coins, but this token's surface is very smooth. I also want to note that this token has an incuse design. Help would be appreciated. Thank you!

P.S. Sorry about the bad picture, the token is inside of an adhesive 2x2, so this angle with a flashlight was the best I could do. Thank you

Definitely milled (struck) and not cast. What appear to be a casting seam is just an artifact of cutting the planchet from sheet stock.

In the future, please remove items from the 2X2.

Thank you for your reply! Can you recommend me on how to safely remove coins from adhesive flips? Using a knife to cut the window seems kind of risky.

That's what I do - very carefully. An X-acto knife with pointed blade works well, as you can get in the space between the coin and cardboard with good precision. Just be sure to cut with the blade away from the coin. Your other option is to cut the 2X2 with scissors, which is a much more perilous approach.
