Here are a pair of "Home and Native Lands" Silver Dollars (SDs) from 2017 that include the Canadian National Flag in the background behind an outline map of Canada. The Regular Proof SD was available individually, the selectively-gold-plated (SSG) Proof SD was included (exclusively) in a Fine Silver Proof Set.    Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! I know there is a number of other ones out there. There is even a couple non circulating loonies from recent years that depict the Canadian Flag.

Did you know that the Maple Leaf Flag has even made an appearance on our bank notes? If you look closely at the "bird series" of bank notes you can see our iconic flag flying over the peace tower.   |

Saved the best for the last. Joan O'Malley, the seamstress who made the prototype Maple Leaf flag, our Betsey Ross, turns out to be a family friend. No kidding. She signed a bunch of coins for me, in her house, with her special table cloth and outfit and Sharpie she used for such occasions. That's the proof set in the picture with her about to sign it.
