Our iconic Canadian Maple Leaf flag was designed by historian George Stanley. It made its first official appearance on February 15th, 1965 and replaced the Canadian Red Ensign which had been in use since 1868. As February 15 is National Flag Day in Canada I thought it might be interesting to start a thread dedicated to Canadian coins bearing a picture of the Maple Leaf Flag on it. Coins posted to this thread can be circulating or non circulating but should have the Canadian Flag on it, not just a maple leaf. I'll start us off. This 25 cent coin was issued for circulation in 2015 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Flag. It was issued with a colourized and non colourized reverse. I will only show the colourized version as the non colourized coin I found is well circulated. Maybe someone else can help me out with a better picture of the non colourized coin.

This one is selectively gold plated as opposed to the red enamel. There is also a non colourized version of this coin but I don't have one in my possession.

This is the Token of the true birth of the Canadian Flag by the Liberal government in 1964. Many don't know this that its colored red and white Liberal colors. Gold and yellow is the true color of the leaf. This will be one of the questions on the Canadian Coin Quiz remember 1964.
