*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's essential to have it in the title. ***

Please under stand I am not knowledgeable of coins so this is a all foreign to me and please understand I am not into insulting anybody's hobby or knowledge by trying to deface our American money or any coin to scam for profit I am a very caring person I just don't want to take into a shop and look silly asking a professional in person if it's something that is garbage or just 1 cent

Then what's the raised line over the date size of a hair and on the reverse side I see a spot that is dark colored and shaped like a p

First welcome to CCF. Second, that vaguely letter p-shaped mark is just more damage, but with Pareidolia.

Could be the copper was scraped into a line - that's why it's raised. And like Spence stated damage or a stain in shape of a P - Pareidolia.

To CCF! What you're seeing is PMD and Pareidolia. This coin was probably sanded down, which caused the copper plating to be worn away.
