1881 S VAM Question MD On 1's?

Hi I spent way too much time looking for this VAM but believe it's a double spike 8 of some sort - question here is, is it safe to assume the doubling on the 1s is Machine Doubling. I ask because I don't see any VAM that is classified as having all 4 numbers doubled, although I feel like this does.
Let me know your thoughts.

My guess would be yes on the Mechanical Doubling. VAM-9 looks like a good fit - it does have doubling on both 1's, though seemingly not quite to the extent of your example.

Thank you. My initial thought is that this was VAM 38 which I am now realizing is the same obverse as VAM 9 that you mentioned. Thanks for the connection. Sorry about the pictures. I literally put my loop up to my phone camera and zoom in hahah I should invest in a better method. Anyway I get quite an array of images that due to the inconsistency of zoom and lighting. Check out the R in Dollar on reverse.
