ok, is something to look into, or is it just another 1967 Penny? Found this in my Grandfathers things, so wondering. Thanks for the guidance and help on this.

Sorry, it's just a damaged cent. I would keep it with your grandfather's other things since he found it interesting enough to hold onto.

Interesting for the shape of the hole to be square. Prior to 1900 or so, nails were that shape and occasionally were used to pierce coins.
