The Royal Australian Mint will not have a sales stand at the ANDA Coin fairs in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as we have done in past years. There will be no counter stamp coins at these shows. We may provide an unmanned display to showcase our latest releases. However, all product sales enquiries can be directed to your favourite coin shop at the show or by calling our sales team on 1300 652 020. Please keep an eye on our website as we will use the notice board to update you on our attendance at coins fairs.

Richard that is disturbing,I know they are not doing shows this year but that response "We may provide an unmanned display to showcase our latest releases" is so unbelievable, they never answer queries directly theres always a maybe from RAM who used to be good with feedback replies now they are just a joke, heads will roll soon at the RAM and not before time, their reputation in 09 is the worst I have ever seen in my 41 years

They, (RAM) are becoming an insult to all serious Oz coin collectors.

RAM have lost the concept of what decimal collectors want and worst of all they have become an entity that has lost its customer service now and many people do not bother collecting their modern issues
I am concentrating on old decimals now not the modern overpriced and overproduced collector coins

I am now happy to report I have not purchased a single item from RAM for 6 months.
Even if you were say a $1 collector they make some only in sets and the 2010 program has too many series and types its become a joke and becoming too expensive to buy common overminted $1 coins.
Even worst news if you collect other denominations or sets
For eg the Wedding set is now in proof not specimen,a price hike of $30.
RAM has killed the golden goose and I am not supporting modern issues anymore,if I get interested again one day I could buy them cheaper than issue price in years to come
