The '55 half penny is 301 for the Melbourne mint, value $8,750 none for the Perth Mint.
There are no '56 half pennies.

The '55 penny is 1200 for Melbourne, value $1,100, and 301 for Perth, value $10,500.
The '56 penny is 1500 for Melbourne, value $900, and 417 for Perth, value $10,00.

The mintages are:
1955 Perth ½D and 1D: 301 pieces.
1955 Melbourne 1D: 1,200
1956 Perth 1D: 417 pieces.
1956 Melbourne 1D: 1,500
The 55 and 56 Perth's are the most underrated post-55 proofs in the series, in my view. A PCGS PR62RD pair in one of Hannoford's past sales sold for $22k the pair, from memory...
