With silver at $14/ozt, 90% coins are worth right at 10x face value. The math for dimes, quarters, and halves is: [face value] x .715 x [spot price] = bullion value.
Each dollar weighs 25 grams, which works out to .723ozt of silver in uncirculated coins. With circulated junk silver, figure .715ozt to account for wear. Silver dollars are a little heavier at 26.7g, or .773ozt uncirculated. 40% coins contain .295ozt silver per dollar.
Expect to pay a little over spot price and sell for a little under; my local coin shop is currently selling for 10.7x face and buying at 9.3x face, based on $14.25 silver.
