I have a 1977 Lincoln Penny with NM. It weighs 2.88 grams.

Could this be Delamination on Observe and Reserve? It's " flaking" on Reserve but not as severe as the Observe. It has roller lines on both sides.

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Just a badly damaged and corroded coin. PMD. Not an error.

Your photos are showing 2 different color combinations. Which one is true to life?
Is it the silvery version?.if so, could be a formerly plated cent, that has partially peeled off.

The true color is the top 2. The other pics are with the flash on the camera.

@Jessica_1978 - As Tacc says, perhaps a plated or lacquered coin with peeling. A lot of parallel scratches on obverse. PMD

Abe took the brown acid!

All kidding aside, it is a good example to keep for showing that type of damage.

The Reserve has them too at the word Cent. I thought they were Roller Lines on both sides.
