Hi folks, I was looking for the best coin forum, and all roads ran to CoinCommunity, so here I am.

I have discovered in a lot I purchased what appears to be v similar to a 1705 Beard Token. Knowing how rare these are I am pretty sure this is worthless, but hoped someone on here would be able to help a bit?

I have been told by a valuer that it does not look fake but....

thanks in advance.

@dog, first welcome to CCF. Second, this token was the inspiration for one of our prior threads (coins with beards): http://goccf.com/t/339220

I can't speak to the authenticity of your piece, but this feels like the sort of coin that you want to purchase slabbed unless you have specific knowledge. However, since it came in a lot of coins, my strong assumption is that yours is a fake. To help us, can you please add the diameter and weight to this thread? Thx.
