panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18662 Posts	Posted 03/09/2025 12:56 pm the 98(S) are typically very well struck. with that being said the hair detail/date/lettering & rim are saying VF30/35 as well as the reverse leaves. overall I think the coin is mid to high VF. the only area to point out are the cotton balls and grape leaves. when looking at the overall coin a grade of 35 would not surprise me but that would put the coin at $72 full retail. the coin is overpriced Report this Post to the Staff
UnimpossibIe Valued Member United States 343 Posts	Posted 03/09/2025 4:52 pm I think VF20 is pretty spot on, could go up or down a grade depending on the grader. I do not see enough detail to go above VF25, and yes it's priced almost double what I'd pay for it. Report this Post to the Staff
