I've had a $10 and a $20 Series 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Note from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston in my "type set" collection for quite awhile, and I recently realized that neither were in particularly good condition (lots of wrinkles and very faded with edge tears). So, without wanting to break the bank, I thought it was time to see if I could upgrade them a bit for better eye appeal.

This one cost me about $85:




And this one cost me about $75:




[I specifically got Boston notes because I live in Massachusetts.]

Did I mention those were merely upgrades to notes I already owned?

I couldn't find a $50 or a $100 from Boston, so I settled for these:







I previously upgraded the $5, which is why it looks so nice. I might go ahead and upgrade the $50 and $100 some day, but for now I'm satisfied with them.
