Would like to see what grade this Seated Half would be. According to PCGS, Type 4 for 1855-O has 10 varieties so if anyone has any knowledge to share on this it would be much appreciated. Here are some photos at different angles showing more or less toning to see details. Thanks in advance.

From these pics the coin appears to have been cleaned at some point. Notice the hairlines in the fields crossing over onto the devices. More noticeable on the obverse than the reverse. I would call this AU details cleaned.

I have it at AU55. I don't want to call it cleaned, yet. I think it might stand a good chance of grading. Perhaps with better pics the surfaces can be judged better.

Obverse field (our viewing right side) shows what I believe to be the results of a cleaning. Have to agree with MisterT.

I'm thinking AU58 but possibly low-MS. The light is masking masking what's going on in the obverse fields - could you take another pic with lower light and perhaps diffuse it more?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

AU Genuine seems legitimate ... I sure do like holding coins in my hand and manipulating the light conditions. I always feel handicapped by pics only.

Looks like a beautiful AU-55! I don't see any kind of cleaning. The dramatic lines are the result of single lamp lighting. They are common circulation hairlines. Shot AU-58.

Looks like it could be WB-12, but unsure.

The glare obscures the surfaces to determine originality.

AU55 possibly cleaned. do not use any type of overhead lighting

Thank you everyone for the kind and helpful responses. This is my first post here on the forum. Here is another set of pics this time taken with natural light, hopefully less glare than before.

good job on the new photos. use this setup going forward if you have other posts. just as I suspected that the glare was not telling the coins story

AU58 for me.

My estimate is AU55 with no evidence of cleaning under close examination after I upscaled the resolution of your photos
