There is some reporting that DOGE is looking to shut down the San Francisco Mint (https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...-in-the-air)

I do wonder what this would mean for commemorative coinage. Would Philadelphia and/or Denver take on minting proof sets? Would they just stop selling them completely?

I noticed the Silver Proof Sets have been moved on the Mint's website to a release date of TBD instead of in April. I wonder if this latest news has anything to do with that.

Definitely something to keep an eye on...
