Curious on this one how much age and wear hurt the value of an error coin.
Where is the line drawn and it becomes a tosser?

That coin is a keeper for sure! That's a major RPM (FS-501 I think.) I saw one of these sell for about $40 just this past week. Give it a good acetone soak and then 2x2.

Just 100% pure acetone from any hardware store. I would soak it for at least a day to loosen and remove dirt. Acetone won't hurt the coin. Just make sure to use a container you can seal as it evaporates very quickly.

Nice RPM find. Not an "error" but a known variety - definitely a keeper!

Congrats on a very nice find.

FWIW- This coin is considered a variety (not an error) since there are generally more than 1 exactly like this one. The variety is because of a deviation on the die, not any kind of striking error.

An error coin is generally unique and there will only be one exactly like it.
Again, that is a very nice variety.
