To CCF! The reeded edge is worn down from circulation. It could be an early stage Dryer Coin. It's PMD, not an error. Worth 25 cents.

It's called a Dryer Coin.
Not an error, a damaged coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

I'm new to here and the coins I came across this quarter it's twice as thick as any other quarter and has an amber color it also looks like it's double pressed do I have anything here

Agree a Dryer Coin. May no longer fit in a coin operated dryer though.

Could be just "spooned" (hammered) or like stated, an early stage Dryer Coin.
