I was browsing my old photos and thought I'd ask the group about this medal I still have stowed away somewhere. I'm sorry I don't have a photo of the opposing side, but I was scared to death to touch it at the time I was inventorying everything. XD Anyway, I'd love to hear what you guys think about it. It's the first I've ever seen, and after reading the tag it seems that it will be the only one I'll ever see. Conservation of this should be trusted to professionals such as at one of the major grading services or some other numismatic establishment. It will not be cheap, but this medal is worth it. Regarding conservation, I would talk to NGC. It offers conservation services for medals and it would be in a good position to answer your questions and offer guidance.
