Thank you! And yes, it most certainly was! There was some fine coins in there.

So I went through a small coin roll spree the other day. I didn't really find hardly anything honestly.

But.. I did find these...

Okay so even though this is my Lincoln Cent collection... finding this was pretty darn cool if you ask me. I live in a border state, so we get quite a few Canadian coins in change, especially pennies.

1948 cent

1971 S

And not really anything special, but this 79 philly had a good shine to it

Also, on another note, I am considering starting a Canadian cents collection eventually since I come across so many of them. It would certainly make for something interesting, considering I'm not Canadian. Lol.

That's all for now!

Thanks! Well, I did something I shouldn't have done today... I called in from work and played hookie, and went out and collected 50 dollars in cent rolls. I didn't do it specifically for that reason... that just happened to be a happy coincidence. Lol.
I did find few goodies, though. I am searching mostly for older wheat cents or some of the harder to find Lincoln memorial cents.
Unfortunately, it seems most of the older Wheat cents that I usually find are the ones I already have.

This, of course, is one I already had. But this is a bit of an upgrade, since the one I had was pretty gunked up.

Another one I may or may not have had already. Can't remember.

Some more wheat cents. I already had a 1910, but I'll keep it anyways for now.

47-D

the three 1959 minted cents I have. This is the BU one that is in one of the three blank ports on the final wheat cents page.

Finally found a circulated one today

This 63 plain was pretty nice

I like how very well these coins are matched now

I finally found one of these sitting Lincoln 2009 cents that wasn't in garbage or GUNKED up condition.

Thank you, fellow coin enthusiasts!

I think I may have found a 1960 D small date.... But I'm not entirely sure.

Is it just me, or does the one in the upper right look a bit different? The stem IMO doesn't seem to be sticking out as much as the others.

Thanks, jbuck! I kinda thought so! It doesn't look quite like the others. I hope I can still find this in my pile. Lol

Yep! I found it. I ordered a decent condition 1909 VDB from ebay. Not the S obviously. But this is a coin I will never find in circulation. The 1909 S is another one that is gonna be pretty tricky to find in circulation, if at all. I will probably end up purchasing it at some point.

Honestly, I'm not sure how successfully I will find most coins from 1911-1930-something.
It seems like whenever I go through cent rolls, I always find the same wheat cents over and over. But, I will keep trying.
The earliest minted cent I've found in circulation is the 1910 Philadelphia. I've actually found 2.

@Humanist1287, PM me if you want - I have a fairly large pile of 1930-1939 cents and maybe others of dates around your time frame you are searching for.

you can have them (free)
