i believe this to be fs -503 LDS MM is mushy as is the reverse on all out side devices. verity vista talks about a reverse die change on the LDS stage and all markers for previous stages are gone.so I think what you see with the mint mark and location are the only true markers for this coin.what do you think all comments wellcome.should add this came out of my fathers album #1 thanks forlooking

I don't think that D matchs the ones on CopperCoins or VarietyVista , yours looks strait , 1mm-003 is rotated , In my opinion

i do see DDD going on here but also see splits on upper top of mint mark

It almost looks like the mint mark may have pushed to me.

Honestly I've looked at this thing a lot and can't tell either. I wish there was some markers for this stage but there isn't any and if I was certifying this coin I would have to say NOT.

Dearborn that is a real good possibility. It just doesn't look normal to my eyes and mushy. When the rest of the obverse looks well struck.
