1904 Liberty Head Double Eagle - Repunched Date?

fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3632 Posts	Posted 04/10/2025 2:42 pm I was processing some coins for submission, and I noticed the last digit of the date on this one. Double Eagle RPDs are way out of my wheelhouse. I know they exist and there are several dates with them, and beyond that I plead ignorance. This isn't listed on Wexler's site, and all of my print edition materials are packed right now. (We are in the middle of endless home remodeling, but that's another story.) What does everyone think? Is this an RPD? If so, is there an attribution for this one? Thank you! Here are the full coin photos. Here are the date and a detail photo of the last digit of the date.
