I just posted this coin for info on the size of the motto and grading, but when I took the pics I thought it was strange that it was almost medal alignment, not coin alignment, so I have put it in a 2x2 and marked the centre lines to show the rotation. I don't have a protractor to measure how many degrees, but I estimate about 165 degrees,
Not sure if this is common.

I'd say pretty common...I own 2 (NGC #6527413-006 & a PCGS entombed one) both rotated almost 180 + - 1 degree.
