Diving deeply into the Morgan World.

Bought again several pieces of Them. Here is the one that I think pretty beautiful. Thanks for grading.

I'll say UNC Details. I think the scratch across the cheek next to mouth is going to keep this one from grading straight, otherwise I'd say MS63. From 1879 to 1882, San Francisco minted Morgans are pretty easy to find in better condition. You can usually pick up a graded MS63 or MS64 for under $100, even less is you buy it raw.

MS-62 for me. Great luster but the scratch does hurt it. Reverse looks with some mild toning. Nice piece.

well, learning cost for beginner. I brought 8 pieces from different years. The one from 1879 s and 1880s has the best luster and reflection.

I agree with MS-62. For that grade, it's a nice looking coin. The important things are that you like it and it's found a good home.

I think there is a good chance that scratch would details the coin. UNC Details - Scratched

Scratch probably looks much worse in photos than in hand. If it's not highly distracting in hand I'd say MS-63. The coin has booming luster which is a plus.
