If it grades, it looks FR-02 to me because the stars are worn away on the obverse. There is just a little too much detail on the reverse to snag PO-01.

The scratching on the reverse at the denomination runs E-W, but at the top of the reverse runs NNE-SSW. It looks OK to me, but it might be seen by a TPG as someone's attempt to remove details, rather than circulation wear.

Thanks for the replies. I'm leaning toward fair. What's nice is that the date is clear as is the area of the mint mark.

I'm doubtful it would grade. I'm with FC on someone's attempt to remove details or what I call a parking lot coin where a coin was on the ground at some point in its life and just ground into the surface. based on the apparent swirling of the hairlines I'm leaning with FC's comment. if it did slab, I'm at AG details ( PMD)
