Is this all post mint damage or did it begin life with lamination issues? Always difficult to identify this kind of missing parts. Thanks.

I believe were dealing with a case of rather extreme zinc rot--impacting the plating. Not a planchet lamination matter.

Lamination errors are only on "Alloy" coins - copper coated zinc cent won't have them. Just an extreme case of zinc rot for sure......
