Could not find any reference to these in the forums, hoping someone can help.

The "Series 1995 $1" page references multiple printings of the same, low serial numbers of the 1995 B star notes.

"The New York star runs printed in May 1996, May 1997, and September 1997 were all mistakenly started at serial B 000 00001 * instead of their appropriate beginning serials; thus some serial numbers were printed and issued as many as four times!"

My read of the table is that the runs were:
B-1.1 B 00 000 001 * - B 00 640 000 * 640,000 SHEET 09/01/95
B-1.2 B 00 000 001 * - B 00 320 000 * 320,000 SHEET 05/01/96 Mistakenly reprinted
B-1.3 B 00 000 001 * - B 00 320 000 * 320,000 SHEET 05/01/97 Mistakenly reprinted
B-1.4 B 00 000 001 * - B 00 640 000 * 640,000 SHEET 09/01/97 Mistakenly reprinted

I found my first one last week (B00301550*). That's low enough to be any of the four printings. I'm a bit of a 'completist' nut, and would love to try to get one from all four, but ideally at least one of the error prints.

Is there a way to identify which printing a note is from in this range?

You could compare the plate numbers from your bill to plate numbers from bills printed in a known month. Finding a census of plate numbers is the hard part. Could look on ebay for notes for sale from certain blocks.

(My circulation currency census I did back around 2000 when I was 7 is another source lol, though I'm not sure where that is at the moment)

Edit: Feel free to post your note's front and back plate numbers here and I'll see what I can do

Thanks for the reply and offer to help.
I'm afraid that level of understanding of plate numbers and how they relate is above my limited knowledge ;-)

Here's the front and back if it helps:

Here's some info I found

Face Plate numbers in Run-1 are 32, 43, 48 and 51.
In Run-3 all the FP's are between 114 and 144.
In Run-6 FP's 363, 364, 369 and 372.
And in Run-7 FP's 403, 404, 405 and 406.

Well, that there's gold, Leno55, thanks! Is that an online source you can share?

Not sure what the run number in your data is relative to these particular runs, but seems like the one I have is from the 05/01/97 B.3 error run?
