Hi. I just purchased this token (memorial?) set for my husband's birthday. He is a history/war nut. The guy I got it from said that he went with his Scout Troop to England and France for one of the major memorials for D-Day. He got them in France at that time. I am not sure if it was the 50th or 70th anniversary of D-Day. and I can't seem to find out anymore than that. Does anyone have any information or history of these? I would like a story to go with them when I give them to him. Thanks in advance.

There is limited information available about a specific set of tokens for D-Day. Such tokens are often commemorative or souvenir items issued to honor the event.
