1982 Large Date Copper Cent Error Name?

Gigi2 Valued Member United States 319 Posts	Posted 04/17/2025 3:26 pm I know my photos aren't the greatest, but I hope that you can see the crack that runs from the center top of Lincoln's head all the way down around his throat (Looks like someone had it in for him and slit his throat, ugh.), goes down his lapel then up and under the date to the rim. BTW it doesn't go to the rim up top. This could be the gnarliest crack I've ever seen, and there are 2 small ones on the back as well. The way it goes under the date makes me think it was on the planchet before the die strike. Tell me what you see on this poor coin. Report this Post to the Staff
