So I just got a Youtube video link claiming 2009 Lincoln cents with no mint mark could potentially be worth a million and now I'm getting calls from folks wanting to sell me their million dollar cent.Anyone else running into this?
No, I'm not running into this. I do have a couple full tubes of Philly mint 2009 'professional life' cents in high AU/low MS condition. If they're a million each, I'm set...
Alas, they're worth face value, perhaps a few cents each to rabid 2009 aficionados...
The youtube self-professed "coin professionals", tout so much disinformation it's comical. Just yesterday, I watched a vid for 30 seconds, the guy was holding the coin, referring to its "front" and its "back", not obverse and reverse, pointing out is "flaws", not the actual damage, suggesting it was an actual error. There were hundreds, if not thousands of comments praising this guy for all his hard work & knowledge.
The ' no mint mark' cents are just coins that were minted at the Philadelphia Facility (Mint). Each one is valued at the amount that is struck on the coin itself. (One Cent)
