Need Help With Possible VAM Or Error On 1885 O Morgan Dollar

Hello folks, just joined. I am not a collector, so please excuse my lack of knowledge, but my father was and had quite an extensive collection. He passed away in 1977 but we kept a few things and have been listing them on ebay over the last few years since retiring. He had a keen interest in error coins, though mostly Lincoln cents and a few others. Fortunately, he kept pretty good details on his errors and with online research and a little help from some of the buyers, I learned just a bit and have been able to find happy homes for most of the coins.

However, I found this 1885 Morgan dollar with no notes and a scratch or possibly a break running across her head and a little one on the reverse. While researching, I came across the famous 1888 O Scarface Morgan dollars, so my curiosity is aroused. Can anyone give me any guidance on this? What type of error it is, or if it is unusual?
