I wonder if anyone could narrow this down a bit further. The reverse seems double struck so that doesn't help much unless you know what you are specifically looking for but the obverse seems to suggest a "O" character at 5 o'clock. None of the the more common deniers of Achaea seems to fit - list below

Denier - William II :+:G•PRINCEPS.
Charles I d'Anjou + • K • R • PRINC' ACh'
Florent de Hainaut - +: FLORENS: P: ACh:
Isabella + YSABELLA. P. ACh
Philip I of Savoy + + DE CLARENCIA +
Philip II + PHS. P. ACh TAR.
Mathilde de Hainaut + mAhAVTA. P. ACh'
John of Gravina "+Ioh'S PACh'E"

The only option on Numista that seems to have an "O" character at 5 o'clock is the 1 Denier Tornese - Martin Zaccaria - but it doesn't seem to work elsewhere either.

Happy to hear any suggestions

Not Crusader, but of the French types from which the Crusader coins were imitations - the reverse around the cross gives the mint-city: TVRONVS CIVI, city of Tours. Reverse SCS MARTINVS, Saint Martin - this is an ecclesiastical French coin, from the Abbey of St Martin of Tours. a more legible CGB auction example.

The original "denier tournois" that gave the name to the denomination, it seems.

Very interesting coin! Even if it's not Crusader.
